Okay Cuevas has the hall of fame resume and is rightfully regarded higher. But Miadana had a solid chin, good power, late round stamina, heart, guts etc. I think these two tough guys would make for a good match. What do you think ?
I think that Jose Pipno Cuevas would start out having a shoot out against Marcos Maidana, but the Marcos gets tagged by Cuevas right hand in round 4, ending the bout for the night.
Could be a good fight. I'd take Cuevas by KO though. He kind of faded away after getting blown out by Hearns. But Cuevas was really something before that, with a long string of defenses, mostly by KO. But it's an intriguing proposition. Maidana would push Cuevas and maybe had the chin to stand up to him.
