    Call it whatever you want, he made the right choice in not continuing the fight. What ****ing good is he if he is blind? He may be blind already for all we know.

    You just said yourself that Angulo told the ref that he didn't want to continue. That's quitting. It doesn't matter why he matter why he made the decision, it's still quitting. The problem is that people are completely disregarding the definition of the word and are exclusively focusing on the negative connotation associated with the word.

    Maidana is jabbing with Lopez. Tentative start, both circling and feeding each other jabs from mid-range. Overhand right by Lopez. 1-2 by Maidana, jumping in and falling short. Lopez moves in with a jab to cover the space he gave up by dodging with his short hop backward. They briefly tie up. Maidana lands a right hand and crowds in. Lopez spins off the ropes with a combo. Straights and hooks by Lopez. Left hook downstairs by Lopez. Both men throw hard punches but get netted up in a mess of arms until the bell.

    10-9 Lopez but Maidana got the best single shot in

    You would have a great point if I were arguing that he should've continued, but I'm not. I'm just pointing out that its accurate to say that he quit, even though it was justified.

    Maidana lands a right hand. Lopez holds. Lou Moret calls for a break. Lopez doubles his jab and backs up, straight into the ropes. Chopping right by Maidana, turning Lopez's head down. Body combo by Lopez fighting his way free. Maidana is following Lopez around. Wide swaths to the body cut by Lopez. Maidana is knocked into a corner by a right hand. Wide left hook by Maidana. Lopez jogs in place, then goes left. Big body shots traded both ways. Lopez is flung into a corner eating hooks. He manages to wrap Maidana up and press against him, chest on chest against the ropes, smothering. Maidana bumps him off and loads up on uppercuts in pursuit. Left hook downstairs by Lopez, fully regaining his bearings. Maidana thrusts a few jabs on the way in and swoops in with quickened gait throwing hard uppercuts to the body. Right hand by Maidana. Lopez sticks the jab and backs up. Jab to the body by Lopez. Maidana jabs, blocked.
