    Stinging jab by Lopez. Double jab by Maidana. Lopez is jabbing the body from outside. Overhand right by Lopez backs Maidana off as he is galloping in recklessly. Left hook by Lopez, glancing off Maidana's temple. Maidana throws a hard straight volley, pushing Lopez to the ropes. Hooks and uppercuts now by Maidana. Lopez fires back with a looping right and skirts around Maidana, keeping a distance between the exchanges. Right hand by Maidana. Jabs and uppercuts by Maidana swarming in on Lopez against the ropes. Lopez ties up and casts off. Maidana sneaks a jab between Lopez's gloves and follows with an axing right. Lopez says bring it on, beckoning in toward his jaw, and steps forward to brawl with Maidana. It's actually Maidana who backs up, extending a few jabs as he goes.

    this is best I've seen Maidana in some time. Very sharp tonight. First time he's seemed comfortable at 147 imo

    Lopez has to realize he isn't going to win this on the inside. Maidana is to strong for him when they clinch. Lopez can outbox Maidana in the center of ring. If he continue to get caught on rope he's going to go down.
