    Round 5

Pereyra comes forward and plants a big hook on Aguirre's chin after stalking him around the full breadth of the ring. JUST as he lands, Aguirre counters him with another perfect right hand that liquefies his legs. Aguirre presses the attack as Pereyra struggles to stay upright. Aguirre gets him on the ropes and hammers him with hooks and overhand rights. All Pereyra can do is come flying at him to grab and hold. After the break of the clinch Aguirre drives Pereyra to the opposite ropes with powerful punches! Pereyra is tipped back against the ropes, and they are holding him up!!!! Hard rights and left hooks rock his head around as he desperately tries to defend himself to no avail!! The referee sends Aguirre away to apply a ten count! Pereyra is in no shape to answer his instructions!!!

    TKO!!!!!!

didn't know they were doing standing 8 counts, but it didn't save his ass. Great turnaround.

What a fight! And the 4th round is definitely a ROTY candidate.

Oh wow, that was actually a pretty big upset.

    Aguirre was 7-5-1 (4).

Pereyra was 24-1 (15) and his one previous loss had not been by stoppage. He also fought the only recognizable name between the two of them: Adailton DeJesus, famous for losing a lopsided decision to shot/blown up MAB last year. Pereyra sparked him in one round.
