    Maidana chasing and cutting the ring off well on Petrov, he jab and right is finding Petrov and occasionally stunning him. Petrov is in survival mode simply looking to dodge and tie up.

    Petrov is DOWN!!! Maidana just strolled up and clobbered him against the ropes and left him pitching forward into a faceplant from a right hand!!! Petrov is up but smarting. Maidana holds his jab extended to measure range and follows Petrov around the ring while keeping him in his laser sights. Petrov is pushed into a corner and tagged with a long reaching left hook to the body, and answers back in kind! They're trading shots up close again as Petrov slides along the ropes with Maidana pursuing. Petrov is unafraid to let both hands go while taking a step or two in reverse at a time. BIG right hand by Maidana!!!! Petrov is getting cracked with hard lefts and rights while ducking back against the ropes! Hook to the body by Maidana! Petrov is down!

    OVER! TECHNICAL KNOCKOUT! (ref didn't feel a full count was even worth bothering with)

    Yeah, that'd be decent, but since Floyd is going to continue to blatantly duck Pac, how would the crude brawler Maidana fare vs the cheat PhonyMay.
