He struggled but he didn't lose to the CW. And while he doesn't have that look to you I'm still backing him until the train comes off of the track.

William's has showed he has huge power, the shots he hit the normally very durable E-Rod with to put him away were nuclear.

He also showed he can force a fight, applying pressure against an elite, world class fighter (Stevenson) and trouble them quite a bit. He also showed the ability to lay against the ropes and counter punch against a solid operator in Edwin Rodriguez. He's shown multiple facets to his game is what I'm trying to say.

Fonfora gets a ton of love for troubling Adonis and honestly, Fonfora was really battered to the head and body at times in that fight. He's lucky he wasn't stopped himself, and if he had fought like Williams had he would have been stopped.

You can cite Rodriguez also being knocked down by Seals, but Seals is a massive guy who drains down LHW, just barely. He's 6'3 with an 80 inch reach, and has fought over 200 pounds, as high as 209! He's very much like the Paul Parker, who's also very dangerous sheerly on his size and weight draining ability alone.

I remember the commentators saying Seals used to spar with heavyweights and his right hand was his best punch. Then we saw that countering with the right was his only punch, albeit a huge one, and E-Rod kept walking right into it, lol.

    Some more observations.

Browne re-hydrated to 191 pounds against Kalajdzic's 185.8. That's a pretty serious cut for Browne, isn't it? Not sure if he's tight at the weight. Maybe another edge?

Savigne was a prodigious weight cutter himself, and fought as high as 197 pounds in his first match. Edwin Rodriguez is a fighter that I believe re-hydrates to nearly 190 pounds.

Do you honestly type crap like this with a straight face? Even if you count the BS knockdown in the 1st the best case scenario for Browne was a Draw, that was a textbook example of a hometown decision and a very bad call. What does Kalajdzic having like 2 fights at CW have to do with anything?

I'd also be tempted if the payback is decent, what can you get for Williams by KO/TKO/DQ?

In comparing mutual opponents... It's pretty easy to forget that Campillo could always be pretty hot and cold but was a very classy operator when he did put everything together, against Williams Jr. he did just that but I think it's safe to say that was the last good performance he had in him. I'd confidently pick Williams Jr. to bomb out the version of Campillo that Browne blitzed in a round and on the flip side would favor the Campillo who upset Williams Jr. to do the same to Browne.

In the Browne match it looked to me like Campillo wasn't quite so hot on boxing after Beterbiev almost killed him.

You can back that up by looking at Campillo's weight. 178 pounds. He didn't even try to make weight.

Watching the Kalajdzic match again, man, Browne can really be a spoiling negative turd when he wants to be. I would have taken a point away to be honest. Excessive clinching, on top of the wrestling, pushing, so on and so forth. I even saw a blatant lacing attempt by Browne, the ref saw it as well!

He has no inside game whatsoever, just look flashy from the outside with throw away jabs and then tie up when under any sort of substantial pressure.

Also, this was only an 8 round fight?! What stage of Browne's career is this supposed to be exactly?
