this should really be fun cause both guys have great standup and like to trade.

personally, i think hardy has bitten off more than he can chew against the battlehardened davis, who is a legit top ten guy.

but davis can be hit and hurt. both spratt and taylor had him hurt.........and hardy seems to be at least at their level right now.

so bombs away...........who do you pick???

Hardy, probably UD. Although should he hurt Davis I'm sure he could put him away.

Davis is pissing me off as of late. All that comes out of his mouth is 'nobody will stand with me' blah blah ****ing blah. Yet when he fought Lytle he was on his bike all ****ing night.

I don't think Davis is a top 10 guy. He's is beating journeymen and gatekeepers at best and in his step up in class he was more or less dominated by Mike Swick.

Although we haven't seen all that much of Hardy, especially not at this level, I think of he has the tools to go further. I think he will stick to ther outside and out strike him for the decision.

Should be a good fight. Hardy has been talking a lot of **** lately, we don't need another Bisping :-( . I also don't think Davis is a top 10 guy but I still I fancy him to pull of the victory.

Davis had nothing for him. Swick was too rangy and fast and easily out struck Davis. The few times it did go to the ground Davis looked like a fish out of water and struggled, which is kinda strange considering he has a fair few finishes by submission.

Sorry for the extremely brief run through but it was a while ago. I might try rewatch the fight. I'm sure I had UFC 85 downloaded somewhere.

Davis looked poor against Swick. But after the fight he claimed he went into the fight with a shoulder injury.

I haven't seen much of Hardy, so it's hard to say. Davis looks like he can beat gatekeepers, but I was also pissed that he ran from Lytle they way he did.

As for the Swick fight, Swick fought safe on the feet, keeping out of range and on the ground he was strong and steady enough to keep Davis on his back getting hit. Not too thrilling, but totally one sided.

first of all, just cause davis got beaten by swick............what does that mean for him vs hardy??

swick would assrape hardy in one round, end of story!!

as for hardy, he can be fun to watch, but look over his record. nothing in there that suggests he can be a real contender. and thats not cause he is inexperienced. he has been around the block and so far hasnt cut it.

just glad he is not being fed so many second raters like bisping, cause we dont need any overprotected fighters who get the easy treatment just cause they happen to be european and the ufc is looking to break into that market.
