    That fight was also close, Froch the clear winner but he didn't exactly rout Pascal...and without a touch of weight drain it could have been even closer and perhaps even swung the other way.

    7-5 Froch.. Almost every Froch fight was a classic war.. Kessler, Taylor, Groves...

    ^ interesting combo Wale fabricated there. Left hook around the guard, then a left uppercut to split it while Stevens was momentarily weakened/stunned, and then a sort of over the top right cross bang on the nose.

    Curtis hit the nape of his neck on the bottom rope when he fell, too, probably exacerbated the impact of the punch itself. Right call by the ref; those were some glazed-over eyes.

    True but I feel like that is balanced out by a natural light welter kayoing a natural super middle (even accounting for rust & drain)

    Yeah he'd already been knocked down 3 times by then and was struggling more and more after every knockdown. Good call from the ref.
