WBC super bantamweight champion Abner Mares (24-0-1, 13 KO), coming back from a year layoff Alfredo Angulo (20-2, 17 KO) and currently without a promoter Chris Arreola (35-2, 30 KO) will fight on a card in Los Angeles on 10 November. Mares will face Anselmo Moreno (33-1, 12 KO), the two other fighters' opponents have not yet been named.

Angulo got back his US visa a few weeks ago, and can now fight on American soil. Arreola was named to fight in a WBC eliminator, but he is currently without a promoter and did not negotiate in a bid with the camp of Bermane Stiverne.

looks decent, I'm interested to see how much an impact the Kirkland loss has made on Angulo, Arreola too, I hope this time his opponent is someone worth mentioning.

I think they moved the date to November because of some TV issues and Pac moving his fight to December, not sure 100% though

something with overstaying his visa, but it looks like he's sorted it out now and can live and fight in the US without problems

Are you kidding me? the Kirkland loss? more like the freaking year of inactivity due to being jailed in US for bull**** reasons due to your. He really needs a couple tune-ups before taking on any named fighter

    That sounds nice!
Get Kirkland in there w/Angulo in a rematch.
(Might get me out of my hole & buy some tickets)

he was getting a pretty decent beating befor the ref stopped it, but you're right, a year of inactivity and legal issues didn't do him favors
