Mares is a dirty fighter, but Garcia is a masterclass boxer...

Totally disagree while Garcia's straying low happened a bit more often than it should have many of them happened in the heat of an exchange where Lucas moves in for the kill and Danny holds his ground swinging. Lucas also drops his right hand like dropping a hammer and some of those low blows had Danny being pulled down from Lucas's arm. I think the real story of the fight was how Danny was able to adapt and score. I said it before the fight as did a lot of posters I've respected over the years on this site. Its no mystery that our analysis tend to mirror.

 

I don't think Mares is dirty if your seeing a double standard somewhere its not coming from me, don't put to much stock in what other fans say and create your own perspective. If you couldnt distinguish the difference in boxing IQ displayed during the Lucas vs Danny fight then that's a flaw you should try to improve on.....it takes nothing away from Lucas he was strong, game and worthy of a rematch. Danny just has more layers as a fighter and for me it was always clear as day.
