when are you guys ever going to learn, its not about the fighters-its the managers and promoters who make the fights. All boxers at this level will get in the ring with anyone close to their weight division. If you think fighters are scared you really don't understand this game.

he literally schooled darchinyan, something no one outside of donaire has done. People seem to forget the low blow fight as well as the gift decision against darchinyan. I like Mares I do but when it comes to true boxing skill, Moreno has got him beat.

finally moreno gets his shot at genuine stardom. he boxed the ears off of darchinyan and with a win against mares, the sky is the limit for him....

Are they seriously putting this on the same night as Donaire/Nish and Rios/Alvarado? I will never put another penny in the pockets of these scumbag promoters until they stop screwing over the fans.

    They are both overrated..

.Did you see who Moreno fought? an old Darchinyan who is like 5'3 and the dude from Mehiko was

also a midget. Mares couldn't even drop Darchinyan.Donaire destroyed Darchinyan, Sydorenko and Montiel.

Moreno should win but he's gonna have his hands full for 12 rds.
Good fight. I hope the winner comes after Rigo's belt, but knowing the beef between TR and GBP is very unlikely.

To be honest this is a fight ive been dreading

Im a big fan of Mares , he's come on leaps and bounds in the last 18 months and is now looking he may finally be that finished article everybody's been saying he is , that said Moreno is the biggest spoiling fighter ive ever laid my eyes on , Hopkins doesnt have **** on him :deal , his style stinks , and i just dont think hes that good , my gut feeling tells me Moreno is gonna spoil this one and may nick a decision

Its a brave fight for GB to put together because Moreno is never going to sell tickets , Mares on the other hand is , maybe there banking on Mares being able to get to Moreno , im not

Mares a G, no doubt about it.

Moreno is gonna be a very very tough fight, but my boy Mares can pull it off IMO.

Mares schooled Agbeko...something NOBODY has done, and im not talking about the 1st fight.

and **** out of here with that gift talk against Darchinyan, it was a razor close fight that Mares edged out.

Mares gets underrated around here if anything, and he's gonna suprise alot of people this coming October, im calling it. :deal

Moreno makes Mares look silly for 12 rounds and corruption gives Mares the decision.

I love Mares and would like to see him flourish, but man this is a tough as fight and Moreno is probably too much, I'm not sure he isn't the best of the bunch. I'd have to favor Moreno, I'm not sure Mares can hit him consistantly.
