I think Donaire will put Agbeko or Mares on the canvass but as usual they get up and rally back in the contest.

Mares vs Donaire, make it happen.

Vic was a hell of a fighter, no shame in having a tough fight with him when your style isnt one of pure boxing or youre not a big puncher, thats just the way boxing is. People think because Vic has lost a lot of shine that struggling to beat him is somehow a sign of weakness, when it doesnt always work like that.

At 122, I don't see him at this exact moment beating the Donaire, Rigondeaux, or Moreno's and see a 50/50 at best match-up with the likes of Nishioka and Arce. Though, we should wait to see him lace up at 122 before we judge.

-I scored the Perez fight to Mares by a point or two.
-I scored the Darchinyan fight to Darchinyan by 1 point.
-I scored the first Agbeko fight a draw.
-I scored the second Agbeko fight for Mares, but not by the wide 118-110 margins the judges claimed.

Because he lost to one of the best fighters in the world in Moreno and because he lost to Yamanaka, one of the Japanese-level fighters' best. It makes no sense. A win over Vic is good no matter, especially when Mares was what, 24?

Like Freddy I am also thinking this fight is slightly tilting towards Mares favor. Not to say I would pick Mares yet but based on their next performances I might finally say it.

What Freddy is saying is true. If Donaire cant KO you he seems out of it. He simply can not stop a jab to save his life. Vasquez Jr. could have won their fight had he kept using that jab like a piston all 12 rounds. I had it a very close fight for Donaire. I forget the score but Donaire needed that KD to have the win in my card. Keep in mind I was rooting for him that fight.
Donaire also is going to need to implement a jab in his arsenal because it is pretty much non existant right now. As he goes up in weight he is going to realize that he needs a jab as he wont be dwarfing opponents anymore.

dont forget that mares also got robbed vs perez, another fighter who is top level and can fight his ass off.....

put perez, agbeko and vic under mares's belt, and you seen where i'm coming from....not to mention that the eye problem almost ko'd his career......the kids a gamer, no doubt about it......
