If he wanted to, he could win without taking so many shots from Narvaez and Vasquez Jr.. Look at the way he moved against Conception.. :deal

I'm not sure who wins, but goddamn, there are a bunch of great fighters, and fights to be made, at 118-122. I hope the scum that run the 'sport' actually allow some of them to happen.

This division is getting hot.Definitely the one to watch. I think Donaire has his work cut out for him.This fight will be won in the Gym. Donaire likes to showboat and clown around too much.He better knuckle down and improve his game get those milkshakes from Conte they will come in handy and he is going to need it.

Nonito can't fight 12 consistent rounds.Mares could dominate him for a UD.Runaire pot shot work rate sucks he'll get outworked and get hit a lot once this young cats close down on him and pressure him.Unless Donaire can bring it for 12 rounds he is going to have major issues with these younger cats who is definitely going to bring it to Nonito round after round.I can see Abner Mares winning by pure work rate.

i would love to see these two fight. donaire seems to fight down to the level of his opposition, and i think mares would be a challenge he could get up for. still not sure he takes it though, while i think donaire is more skilled, mares seems a lot more consistent. still, mares aggressive style and his tendency to square up against his opponent could allow donaire to land that lethal check hook he ko'd darchinyan with. i will honestly be pissed if donaire avoids mares, moreno, and rigondeaux. actually i would love to see all these guys fight eachother, i slept on this division for a while and am just starting to realize how stacked it is.

 

donaire breaks his hand in the 3rd round and he still schools vasquez like a *****, believe me Mares will be no problem.
