The reason he should be is because Wilder does not get 1/100000 the hype he does. You know what's funny, both Wilder/GGG has fought only one champion. Rankings are subjective. Let's be honest. I do think GGG has fought overall better competition, but really it's not by much. But no one acts like Wilder is an ATG HW, while people try to say that GGG is the greatest HW H2H all the time. They also say he can destroy Ward, etc. You get the point. As for Wilder, we know he's crude and has issues. We don't think he's the second coming. Now I do think Golovkin is better than Wilder in terms of skill, which is why also he should be criticized more. The guy is 34 and has never fought anyone with a pulse. His best wins are C level Lemieux and Murray unless we count a WW. This guy is supposed to have the potential to be a great.

I'm trying not to let the hype / fanboys make me dislike Anthony Joshua, over here in the UK people seem to think he's the best HW ever already. Now I've liked him for a while, and he looks the best in the division to me; but it's WAY too soon to be saying things like that.
