    It would be interesting if Loma fought with 1 arm tied. But then again the fight would probably be similar to Loma against that Thai guy.

    Ramirez and Mares beat the hell out of each other and Mares seemed vaguely stunned a few times, Loma on the other hand dominated Ramirez and was barely touched.

    So if your basing this assessment off their 2 performances Loma would obliterate Mares in 5 or 6 rounds.

    I know, but since that's what El Chicano is apparently alluding to, that was most likely his inspiration for the thread. However I don't see any scenario in which Mares beats Loma triangle theory or not.

    Ramirez was trash. Any fighter can look spectacular against the right opponent. Mares/Russell could be an interesting fight but Mares isn't winning it in a one-sided fashion.
