Marg-Mosley for the ring belt?

Wasnt Margo - Cotto for the Ring belt...?

 

i think it would be hard for the ring not to have Marg as their champion, he has beaten their number 2 quite and he'll demolish Msoley who is their number 3. Tony should be Ring champion for sure after beating Shane.

I think it can be 1 vs 2 or 1 vs 3......

But was Marg in the top 3 at that point when he beat Cotto?

 

I think it has to be 1 vs 2 and right now the rankings have Margo as 1 and Cotto as 2 so if its by that standards then the Margo-Cotto rematch would be for the Ring and possibly unification.

 

Marg hasnt just beaten the current number two comprehensively, but also the current number 4, if he beats Shane who is number 3, he deserves the Ring Belt.

 

Mosley is gonna spank Margarito

 

They in some circumstances allow 1 vs 3 to be for the belt, for example Joe Calzaghe (1) vs Jeff Lacy (3) in 2006. I think this one should be for the Ring belt. It makes sense, True Mosely hasn't had a welterweight win in a good while, but Margarito has already beaten no2 and if the top guy has beaten no 2 and no3 in the ratings and still isn't the champ that's some seriously stupid, nit-picking ****. If I were them I'd be jumping on good chances like this to fill a vacancy.

 

Fair enough. They will probably work it out so it can be for the Ring belt then.

 

I just read thats its not for the ring belt because Cotto beat Mosley and hes number 2. sucks tho.
