I’m willing to believe Margarito on this one. From what the Spanish-speaking posters on here have said, Margarito was making a reference to Roach’s fear.

However it was the other two, Garcia and Rios, who shifted the joke to Roach’s disease. After watching Margarito do his ‘scared’ impersonation, Garcia says something like “No, that’s Freddie Roach right there” whilst point towards the little *******, Rios, who really was making fun of the illness.

Garcia then has the ****ing nerve to not only lie about Rios not knowing, but claim he wouldn’t allow that sort of behaviour in his gym. Really :huh? Then why the **** were you laughing and egging on Rios? *****.

 

Dude they all knew. Margarito was just lucky enough to be somewhat coy about his mocking, and that the shaking fear is similar to Freddy's Parkinson's involuntary shaking.

Imo, the ******* knew which is why he did the shaking fear bit. It means depending on your viewpoint you can see it one of two ways...

 

A) Even if you didnt know why he was shaking and stuff, still not cool to make fun of an obviously debilitating condition.. And b)yea, Margo wasnt really making fun, but the others were.. But whatever, the fight outcome won't be affected, so, in the end, who cares...

Is it coincidence that he does the shaking fear bit when everyone knows Roach has Parkinson's? Or did he do it on purpose to mock him? How does Margo not know, he's met the guy in person you know?

 

I dont think Roach really cares if they make fun of him or not. Is it bad taste? yes it is, but who cares this is a battle of mind games right before the biggest fight in Margos career.
