Well Floyd is the most tactical fighter I have ever seen. He is a tactician in the ring first and foremost and Cotto showed he is not some dimwitted 100 punch 80 missed a round slugger like Margarito.

Very true, though Judah stunned him early but that punch would've KO'd anyone else yet Cotto still took it and came back.

 

How does the Loser of a fight expose someone? explain that? I guess this means that Castillo exposed Floyd, so did DLH, **** so did Judah, Corley and everybody else who got off to a fast start against the man.

He lost but he nonetheless exposed some obvious weaknesses that a better boxer, let alone a much better one in Cotto's case, can exploit.

Clottey was able to move inside Margarito's jab in the early rounds. Being a precision puncher, he had no difficulty finding the openings. Margarito did not really adjust his approach; it's actually Clottey who suddenly became tentative (for reasons we know and maybe also because he tends to run out of gas) and gave Margarito the opportunity to pick up the pace.

In a nutshell, Margarito's defence is below average and his jab ain't that great either. Cotto should be able to exploit such weaknesses.

 

Except Clottey didn't move inside of Margarito's jab. He stood there covered up and waited for Margarito to fall in.

And because of that he took alot of punches on the arms and on the gloves. Which whether you agree or not does wear on a fighter over the long haul.

 

I can see that most on this board hate Margarito to the extreme, same as they hate the Klitschkos. They picked Thompson to knock Vlad out.

 

Please name one A level fighter that Margarito has beat? Can you even do that?
