Doesn't really mean much to say Cotto hits like a girl if Margarito lost almost every round. If Cotto really did hit like a girl Margarito would have won the fight.

Is there a source for this 'quote'? Talking smack to a fighter's mother is beyond all limits of acceptability. Before I condemn Margarito as a worthless piece of ****, I want to make sure he actually said it.
As for the guys ragging on Cotto's son- Get some mother****ing class. You're probably the low IQ imbeciles who bullied kids for lunch money in high school.

Cotto's mum approached Marg and asked him if he still thought that Cotto punched like a girl. She was out of line approaching him in the first instance.

Marg responded, telling her that Cotto does, as it was stopped because of the eye and not the force of Cotto's shots. There's nothing wrong with Marg's response.

I'm starting to dislike Cotto et al more and more. Cotto says that Marg's punches felt the same in both fights but "have a look at my face", implying that his face was more busted up in the first fught because Marg loaded his gloves. Nevermind the fact that he was hit less because he fought better and 10oz gloves cause less damage than 8s.

 

Since when does repeatedly getting your ass beat make you a "G"? This forum has become much worse than sherdog...

there's a thread showing the post fight press conference and Marg repeats their exchange. It was probably said in the ring immediately after the fight.

 

Hell, if Cotto's mom initiated this, then I can't blame Margarito at all. I'd do the same.

 

Mosley's a cheat but he's given a free pass.

It has never been proven that Marg has fought with loaded gloves. For all we know the Mosley fight was the first time and he didn't know what was in the wraps. Or he was well aware and had done it previously. None of the tards on any of the boxing forums know what's fact.

All of the ******s here cite as proof that Marg has always been loading his gloves because he lost to Mosley, Pac and now Cotto. Mosley, for all we know was on PEDs when he fought Marg. He is an admitted cheat and was only busted after BALCO. Marg's style was tailor made for Pac, so that result was no real surprise. Oscar was messed up when it was stopped. Put Oscar through another 3 rounds and his head would've looked worse than Marg's. Whilst Marg was badly busted up at the end of the fight, have a look at Pac's shape; he was pissing blood for days. Marg did that without loaded gloves. And now Cotto. Put 8oz on them like the first fight and maybe Marg's eye would've shut alot earlier or maybe Marg busts him up like he did in the first fight. Cotto fought a better fight this time around and that allowed him to be hit 30 times less.
