    I defended him because I didn't understand how he would only get a year for loaded gloves. But i'll admit i was wrong. he should be banned for life.

    I suspect he'll insist he didn't know his gloves were loaded. It seems whenever any kind of cheating is exposed, athletes suddenly get quite naive and paint themselves as innocent victims.
