If Antonio knew what was goin on then he deserves everything he gets and probly more...

I'm not gonna go as far as sayin that he's used them in prvious bouts. Theres no evidence of that but I'll buy into it that his career is always gonna be questioned...

It actually seems hard to get consistent reports on what actually happened and from what i've read of the court hearing Marg's team tried to absolve him of any involvement - Something about putting old wraps on his gloves as well - there was blood on them or something too and the trainer said another fighter in the gym must have put them there?

They need to work out what the substance was. And make a statement with exactly what happened

 

And if you believed that...you'd believe anything.

If you're only facing a one year penalty for being caught, why not insert knuckle-dusters in your gloves next time you have a crucial match? All you risk is a 12 month spell that you might need, or have taken anyway!

Yeah, from what we've seen there is no evidence it's anything other than blind negligence on Marg's trainers part.

If you read one of the transcripts from the court you'll know there were enough people scrutinising the **** out of that wrap application and EVERY one of them missed Marg's trainer putting these things in Marg's gloves, even Richardson and the only giveaway was some crap falling of them that has been described so far as a kind of padding that felt more solid than a wrap.

A ****ing wet wipe from KFC or a cotton bud is "a kind of padding more solid than a wrap" but it's not gonna ktfo of anyone is it?

They should be punished for negligence, or his trainer should, but not cast as villains for maliciously trying to cheat imo

 

the problem is, there hasn't really been agreat deal of clarity with the entire episode. There are a lot of 'ifs'.
The less info tht is out there, the more it serves to divide opinion on the issue and margaritto.
I'm with those who can't believe that the wraps in their mysterious form were misssed by so many people.
The problem is we just don't know what a foreign substance is. as such, it's hard to agree or disagree with a one year ban which on the surface sounds pretty **** weak.

Watching that old man on a roid rage beating poor margarito was shameful, ...... it did nothing but hurt the sport i love.

mosley should be given 3 years and be forced to rematch Tony in his first fight back.
Tony will have his fists bound with rope and dipped in broken glass......Mosley will wear nuthuggers teke and kegsy as gloves.

what about cotto also talking ****....he should serve his full ban and not fight blah blah......weak **** should shut the **** up or fight a big strong welter again and get knocked the **** out. AGAIN.
