Margarito beats Pacquiao

I would say it would of been more a possibility if Margarito was in the condition physically and mentally when he fought Cotto. However, he's been inactive for more than a yr, not to mention the accumulative damage he took in the Shane Mosley Fight.

If any fight were to test Margarito's conditioning, it would be one with Pacquiao. Unfortunately, we have seen how Margarito performs after long inactivity (ref. Margarito Clottey).

I just don't see Margarito being close to his best these days, which will make for a much easier night for Pacquiao.

 

i tought about it margo beating pacman and then floyd trying to do to margo what mosley did ,if thr fight is at 154 manny will not be able to hurt margo and also mosley beat margo because he didnt let margo got in to his rithim whit a lot of holding ,manny never holds if margo backs up manny hes doom

 

This will be an easy fight. It'll be dapidran's version of Mayweather/Corrales.

It's very possible. Ignore fools that try to make it look otherwise. Especially if this is in Mexico, the Tijuana tomato will go in with a baseball bat riding a bike to the ring and will be cheered for it.

I don't like this fight. Margarito will look old and slow although he will be his usual self. Margarito is so wide open everytime he throws. Pac is probably the best in reading twitch movements that disrupts the momentum of any good fighter.

Pac wanted to fight Margarito since 2 years ago but Freddie doesn't want to.

 

Margo beat Pac but I am sure Margo is going to throw the fight just like Clottey. Pac needs that vacant middle weight belt.

 

I honestly think that Bobby old **** Arum sees this as a win win situation. I think he realizes that pacquia is soon to retire, so he figures if Marg wins he has a new superstar. Just imagine all the Mexican fans supporting Marg for finally stopping the Mexican tormentor.

 

The reason why Freddy Roach didn't want him to fight Margarito is because of the belief that Margarito only needed to land a few punches to turn the tide of a fight.

Since we've seen him found out on hand wraps and his attitude completely changed in his comeback fight by dancing around a complete tomato can.

In order for him to beat Pacquiao he's going to need hand wraps with concrete in them. I suspect that Roach knows this now and feels safe putting Pacquiao in there with him.

 

I wonder if Pac will try implement the Mosley strategy of clinching and loading up on the overhand right constantly, I'm not so sure if Pac has the physical strength to clinch Margarito and man handle him somewhat like Mosley did.

 

It will look like the de la Hoya fight.
