Santos who was much much bigger staggered Margarito. Margarito came back and nearly had Santos out on his feet. Santos received a hometown decision big time!

He has a great chin, don't think anyone has the tools in the division to ko him, although I think Cotto and Mayweather could stop him on acummulation, but I'd be a lot less suprised if he went the distance with them both.

Oliver McCall has the best chin in boxing history. Tyson's main sparring partner in tyson's prime, and was frank bruno's sparring partner.McCall has never been shaken in a fight or knockdown or wobbled or you get my point:good

Calzaghe don't seem to be able to get hurt, when he gets stung he windmills in straight afterwards

Calzaghe has been hurt and shaken before, but yeah he has got a good chin. Don't think he could take huge bombs like Margarito does though, but then again unlike Margarito he doesn't need to.

Cotto doesn't care about landing ko shots on the chin, infact, i cant remember a time he knocked a guy out with a punch to the chin. What Cotto does is break you down and turn your body into a weak *****.

Yeah, Toney STILL has the best chin in boxing. 80 fights from Middleweight to Heavyweight, and has never been knocked out. That's a no-brainer.

Margarito has a great chin and the Cotto/Margarito fight will be a war.

That's true. As you go up in size, power increases more than durability. That's why heavyweights are so filled with knockouts, on average. A heavyweight with an 80% knockout ratio is good but not that unique, but a lightweight with that KO ratio is much harder to find, despite there being much more lightweights than heavyweights (hence more talent).

For those reasons, i think McCall has the best chin. The man seems to be impervious to taking punches to the head, it's sick. Not just in the chin department, but i've also never seen him cut, bruised or marked in any kind of way. Even past the age of 40, he looked as fresh as a fish while Gomez was pretty marked up despite winning something like 10 out of 12 rounds.
