When Maragrito fought Cotto, Oscar was in negotiations to fight Mayweather fir their 2nd fight, or atleast had just finished fighting Steve Forbes in preperation for the REMATCH with Mayweather.

After Oscar found out that he wasn't going to fight Mayweather in a rematch he immediately started working to get the fight with Pacquiao by years end.

In the mean time Margarito was kicking Cotto's ass, and scheduled to fight Mosley just a few months later.

Oscar had a choice to fight Margarito or Pac, he chose Pac.

Like I've told you already, even Margarito would pass up a chance to fight himself if he had the opportunity to fight Pac, that doesn't mean Margarito is ducking anyone if he chose a more lucrative fight, Dummy.
