I haven't decided on this yet. Cintron is the better boxer and has a big power/punching (accuracy, timing, handspeed, etc) advantage, but he breaks down against pressure fighters with good chins so easily it's hard to favor him over Margarito, as shitty and average as Margarito is. It sucks that Judah-Margarito is off, but this is an exciting match and Cintron has wanted to prove himself in a rematch for a while now. He will be extremely motivated/focused like never before for this fight and it will be interesting to see if he breaks down again or not.

Based on the last performance of both, I have to go with Margarito TKO again. Williams had problems and had to work ALL NIGHT like a machine to win a close decision. Can't see Cintron doing it. Maybe a KO, but Margarito's got a great chin.

    But great fight anyway...

I have noticed that Kermit punches better from an intelligent boxer stance. He creates room by stepping back a little and setting up those big punches behind the left lead but I am not about to suggest that he is a good counter-puncher... Memories of the first bout can flash through their minds at fight-time but it will be a much different fight. With that WBA-IBF unification with Cotto on the horizon, it can hardly turn into a punch-up or a slugfest... At this moment, one cannot forget about Clottey having no trouble hitting Margarito, particularly with the left hook when the mexican would pull back and the sort of damage Cintron produced on Matthysse with that punch. If Cintron doesn't catch him early, he cannot possibly fight on the back foot and control Antonio either... It is a great confirmed fight for 2008 along with Pavlik-Taylor II, B-Hop-Calzaghe, Marquez-Vasquez III, Pacquiao-JMM and Haye - Maccarinelli.

    If Feliciano gave Cintron fits.....
I just think Cintron won't be able to cope with the fact Margarito can take all he dishes out, therefore Cintron will crumble down the stretch !

Margarito started his last fight very fast. I don't say that Cintron is a real slow starter but as the Margarito of the past jumped on him when they first met, now with his experience over Cintron and a bit more aggressive style he will TRY to massacre Cintron at the very first seconds.

That could be dangerous for both. Antonio will give some counter-punching opportunities for Cintron but when a few bombs will land on Kermit's face it's very hard to see that he won't remember the shocking loss... when he'll feel again Margo's cracking power, he will start going backwards. Not a great thing against Margarito...

Margarito will make Cintron cry again, I'm not a Margarito fan but I'm even less a fan of someone who quits and crys like a girl.

cintron is a fake, feliciano gave him all he could handle, even alfonso gomez and carlos baldomir would probably beat him.

I'm Going Against The Grain On This One With Marg Looking Like He's On The Outs Might Take Cintron Lightly Even With Cintron Unimpressive Ko Victory Recently. I Think Cintron Might Be The More Fucused Out Of The 2.

Oh, I don't think that Margarito will take Cintron lightly. Why would he?

    1) he lost the world title the last time, no way that's he's gonna take it easy when he will be a CHALLENGER for one

    2) the last time he had Cotto in his sights he lost. No way that's gonna happen again (I mean concentrating on another opponent). He HAVE to win this one and BIG because there's a possibility of other Cotto fights if he doesn't perform well.

Cintron will be better, I agree. But will it be good enough?

Cintron wasn't even IN the last fight with Margarito. Margarito crushes Cintron even more brutally this time around. The Frog goes straight to the hospital to get his ruptured rectum repaired after the fight.
