Margarito cleared of wrong doing in July 2008 victory over Cotto

    I agree there is no proof of anything from the Cotto fight...the 2nd fight will tell us alot though!

    Not that I agree or disagree with the main question but this isn't true. Plenty of Olympic stars have had their Gold medals stripped from them to to drug transgressions, sometimes years later. In certain football (read soccer to all you guys over the atlantic) there have been forced replays of games where it has been found that the winning side fielded an ineligible player. In fact only this year in our FA Cup a team was expelled for such an offence and the team that had lost was given free access to the next round. (http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2008/dec/29/droylsden-fa-cup) So it can happen under the complete miscarriage of justice scenario.... just not very often :)

    I think for that to happen in the case of Margarito someone would have to come forward and say they had been plastering his hands for Cotto + Cintron x 2... not likely! :)
