Fact of the matter is, he can't get one anywhere he goes. NSAC voted 4-1 against him which to my understanding means he has been denied...Why didn't he go to the CSAC first? That's who suspended his license in the first place...

they voted against him cause when asked if he planned to fight there HE SAID NO..so the NSAC was like "then why apply here, go fix your problem in cali first"

i believe a lot of **** was and is being misinterpreted.....i wanna see the actualy transcript

but that perfectly shows you what's going on here...you were going on about how HE WAS DENIED in two states and you dont even know the facts....people like are are making the sport look really bad right now by talking and not knowing.....basically just spilling opinions off as facts

No, he wasn't denied. They voted to simply tell him to go elsewhere. I'll see if I can look up the difference, but I think a denial would mean he would have another waiting period that would be honored by all states including California.

You're right. However, why doesn't he go to CSAC? This is what he's said on that matter:

But Margarito does not seem to believe that the CSAC will change its mind.

"I've come here to the Nevada commission to show the world that I don't need to use anything on my hands in order to fight," said Margarito. "I believe the California commission was unfair. I've already met the punishment they gave me, but believe that even today they still wouldn't give me a license."

Again, why not go directly to CSAC???

So the **** what? A lawsuit doesn't mean he can't apply for a license. I know two of my co-workers who felt they were discriminated against, filed lawsuits and are now working with the people whom they filed a lawsuit against.

Yes I damn well could compare the situation. He feels he got done wrong, it's his right to sue the CSAC. Who knows, the lawsuit might help Margarito, perhaps CSAC did handle the situation in an incompetent manner and Tony's lawyers might find a way to get his license back. Also, COMMON SENSE FREDDY - HE LOST HIS LICENSE IN CALIFORNIA AND OTHER COMMISSIONS WILL NOT GIVE HIM A LICENSE UNLESS THE STATE WHERE HE LOST IT IN REINSTATES HIM.

If Nevada grants him a license, it will look like they are undoing what California has done. California has the evidence, they are the ones that suspended Margarito and they should be the ones that Margarito goes to for a license. He knows this, Arum knows this.

i understand, but for some reason his team aint telling him that....there's a lot of things that aint being brought to light here, so who knows what's really gonna happen.....

maybe besides all the bull**** going on, arum just doesn't wanna put money in the pockets of the csac anymore.....i mean, it aint like many high profile fights happen here anyways......

He should simply go to CSAC (even if he has no intention of fighting there again) if he doesn't get reinstated, like I said - his lawyers might find a way to win the lawsuit, hell, if OJ did it, Margarito can too. CSAC will be forced to grant him a license if they lose in court. It'd be a damn shame but that's how the justice system works. However, Margarito is wasting time by going to Texas, Nevada and any other commission. Hell, I read about him wanting to go back to Nevada for a second opportunity to get his license there. :-(

well margo is doing what's asked of him...

they tried putting him on the pac vs clottey card so he applied there....then they tried making margo vs pac/cotto vegas so they're trying there........can't really put the full blame on margo though, his team should know

Nah...the evidence wasn't there which is why Marg didn't get a life time ban. Had there been SOLID proof there would have been no room for such a light ban. The reason why the didn't press any charges was b/c of the lack of evidence. But all of that can be thrown out if Marg is admitting to something.
