No it doesnt Firing Capetillo basicly is a saving face type of Move, he may as well hire Cottos uncle, he was also responsible for Margarito getting away with cement hand wraps... the two would be a perfect match.:good

 

I boxed for a few years and I have to tell you there is no way that Margarito didnt know what was goin on with his hand wraps, come on it is taking place less than two feet away from your face and if anything is different with your wraps you would know instantly. He knew, thats a fact.

 

I have boxed a few years and I can say that its possible a fighter may not know, did Margarito not know? That I cant comment on, odds are he did but who am I to say, all I can say right now is he was busted red handed, and there is evidence to suggest he also did this in the cotto fight.

Weather he knew or not that isnt for me to judge, or decide point is he has done it in one fight, and was busted in another which leads me to think he has done it more than twice.

No it doesn't. It seems to me to be a move purely to save face like 'Zooka said, after an incident like that you look out for #1, and Margarito is obviously getting rid of Capetillo to try and restore some respectability in the public eye.
