Margarito Ducking Williams...again??

OH BOY! It sure is refreshing to see that there are a lot of true boxing fans that can see through the smokescreen. Paul is being ducked. Period.

 

you are talking as if Margarito haven't fought PW. He beat Clottey, Cintron and Cotto. Why say that he is afraid and call him a *****?

Ah.....the overcondidenceness of misinformed boxing fans. There are many like you and plenty who were this confident that Cotto would destroy Marg.

#1 Marg isn't running scared from Paul.
#2 Even though a fight with DLH probably wont happen.....it wouldn't be smart to throw away that lotto ticket before knowing the winning #s
#3 Given the closeness of their 1st battle it's hard pressed to find anyone in or around Margs camp entertain the notion that Marg cant win.
#4 Lastly.....what's it been? 2 wks? Not even, since Margs career defining win. It takes longer to figure out an oppoent in boxing let along making a fight happen.

It does appear that Hoya is not going to give Margo the fight he had said he would, in fighting the Winner of that fight. But I wouldn't go as far as saying Margo is running scared like a ***** from Williams, Margo has a good chance in beating Williams as Paul has a good chance in beating him. I think Arum is the one scared, not Margo. Like Margo said he'll fight whoever Arum puts in front of him. Let's wait to see who Arum picks for Margos next opponent,

If Marg was really scared of Williams he wouldn't have fought him the first time. Of all the top welters, who is the ONLY one that gave Paul a shot?

Arum is very smart! He was actually banking on Cotto beating the snot out of Marg although Marg was one of his most consistant and dangerous fighters.

When Marg beat his golden boy, Arum switched gears and I'm sure he doesn't want Marg in there with Paul. What promoter would....but to call the fighter a coward, ***** or ducking is going a bit far. They are the ones who put their lives on the line for our entertainment and to support the families they have. Many fans are not respectful enough to show their understanding and appreciation to what these guy go through.

Marg does what he does and that is to fight.....he's not like Floyd mayweather or DLH....he's not wearing the promoters hate as well putting on the gloves....he's just a fighter and he fights whomever, whereever and however his promoter and team sets it up. But to say Marg has no say would be very far off. I'm sure he's expressed the "want" to fight and avenge his loss to Paul.

 

why fight for money. its about making the fans happy and and not securing your future or taking care of yourself. he cant fight de la hoya he is only fighting for money. money Margarito is only thinking of himself. he has to fight paul or he will never be great.

realistically he should fight paul williams. oscar got beat by floyd and i have reason that his stamina would let him down vs margo. he should fight paul so we can have no argument as to the champ is at welter. right now its paul and to remove any doubt they should do it again.

 

Remember who gave Skinny Paul his first shot to begin with.

Margo takes the rematch. Although Paul will put up a good fight at first, he will fade later in the fight, just like he did in their first.

 

OK. He faded. But what happened in the 12th round? Wasn't it Williams who won that round as the most lopsided one in the fight? They both faded. But Williams dug deeper to win a round EVERYONE knew was going to make the difference.

 

Exactly! It was Margo who shot his load in the 10th and 11th and had no answer for Williams in the 12 when it mattered most. He was outworked and lost the 12th to Williams who IMO took the 10th and 11th off so he could finish strong in the 12th.
