No, Margo got "floored" at least 10 times this bout... no comparison to the old hard punhing Margo.

Yep. This fight was a joke from day one. Margarito was going to get worked, and anybody with some boxing sense could see that. Margarito = a more active and less defensive Joshua Clottey. I call them "Human Punching Bags" since they like to slowly plod around the ring and absorb punishment.

So yea, same old Margarito. Slow and limited skills. The fact people actually bought into this "Most Feared Man In Boxing" nonsense about Margarito is laughable.

Margo was in top condition for the fight, but he didn't fight with the same aggressiveness. He did have some success with the jab, when I saw the fight many people agree Garcia was not keen in telling Margo to go to the body more after he knew he hurt Pacman that way. Either ways besides the aggressiveness, I don't see even if he was how it could of given Margo a victory. He might of been more effective, but Pacman just too fast.

Margarito struggled to impose his size due to the fact Pacquiao was just constantly peppering him with shots.

For me the Cotto fight was the first time Margarito took a real beating, and also given his weight gaining after that success, im not surprised we havent seen the same guy since.

Saying that, its worth looking at Pacquiao's post fight presser. He was really bruised around the eyes and cheekbones. This happened without Margarito really unloading on him. Theres no doubt Margarito still has the ability to hurt opponents, but that eye socket could be an issue in future.

I thought Margo showed he is definetly not shot. Maybe a little declined, but its hard to say due to how good Pac was. But the fact he kept coming forward throwing punches, closing down. I thin margo coud move past this and win another title.

it's fights like this the phrase "sweat science" was created. I'm not a big pac fan, but as fan of boxing, this was a masterful performence.

I really like to see people say he wasn't enough agressive/didn't go to the body enough... It's easy to say when you're not the one receiving the punches. Did you see his face ? My point is : Margarito was Margarito. He showed great heart, offered good opposition and even managed to hurt Pacquiao a bit, but it was the best he could do. He sure looked better against Cotto, but he's not Pacquiao.

NO, absolutely not. I've never been much a fan of Margarito fan but a few years back he was a little quicker threw far more punches and used better defense. I admit Pacman is the best AM has ever fought but Am has been on the slide since losing to Mosley.

Sat's Margarito was in the best shape of his life.
100% better prepared than say the Mosley fight.
