I feel we saw the same if not a better Margarito, a bit different in terms of what style of Tony we had, this one came out with a game plan (though it didnt work) he still followed the game plan even when he could have easily reverted back to his wreckless style in fighting.

Manny did a supurb job in maintaining distance but he also stood in there and traded a bit and took some heavy shots. But there are a couple things about this fight that tend to still **** me up.

When your heading towards your 8th weight class championship you should atleast weigh in at that weight class meaning IMO he should have come in at 148 or he gets no Jr Middleweight title.

Not trying to hate on him just stating that there is a reason we have these weight limits. whats the point in having someone come down to 150 if your not going to move up at all?
The mind games prior to the fight, is it really all that needed? However I did notice that Manny put tape down first then gauze then tape while he was wrapping, now that is not illegal everywhere but it is in some states its called stacking....

Ohh and to Roach and Mr Halloway claiming that Tony must have loaded up cus your eye socket got broke, whats your excuse for Manny?

It's funny, the OP asked Margarito fans, but all the slick black boxing fans come out of the wood work.

Weight classes impose maximum weight limits, not minimum weight limits. No blownup lightweight would dare go into the ring with a rehydrated superwelter like Margarito. Well, maybe one man would.
