Margarito fought better quality opposition than Mayweather.

You can break it down however you want, but it doesn't change the fact that Margarito is willing to fight better opposition than Mayweather. Which is pathetic considering the talent difference between the two. What a ****ing ***** that ***** really is.

 

Mayweather won a world title in his 2nd year & has fought world class opposition ever since. Margarito was losing to bums when he began

 

The thread title does not imply that Margo is the better fighter you numbskulls it simply states the sad truth.

 

I disagree. Mayweather's last 5 fights.

1)MOSLEY- same guy who knocked margarito the **** out.
2)MARQUEZ-p4p #3 but Mayweather was bigger and expected to win
3) HATTON-Undefeated top 10 p4p fighter. Floyd gave him his first fight by KO.
4)DE LA HOYA- Floyd moved up to 154, and took the bigger man's titile.

5)Baldomir-Lineal WW Champ at the time. pretty much another guy like margarito. He was big and tough but lacked skill.

You and others constantly hate on his resume yet still rate him as the second best fighter. And we know it's not based on talent.

And even though you rate him at 3, that's still high If his resume was as **** as you make it out to be. He wouldn't be in the top 10.

 

No, his resume is **** on too much for no good reason. Half the people who hate on him picked him to lose a few of those fights. So when he made them look foolish they hate, or they are *******s. One or the other.

 

If you really think that Marquez and Hatton were better at the weight class they fought Floyd in, than the guys in "Margarito's opponent list" then you are a dumbass. :deal

 

I can't ignore the fact that he is a VERY TALENTED boxer. But I also can't ignore the fact that he has ducked the toughest competition. I still don't get your point. NOBODY is saying Floyd sucks...everybody is just calling him a coward. There is a difference.
