When did I say that? Like I said twist it all you want, but the fact remains Floyd is unwilling to fight tough opposition that has a chance to beat him. :thumbsup

    1) Manny Pacquiao- as i acknowledged world class opponent, though he was 17lbs lighter. Everybody bitched about Floyd fighting Marquez but Floyd wasn't towering over Marquez like Marg was over Pac.

    2) Mosley- coming of a close loss to Cotto. Floyd fought him coming of back-to-back KO wins and his career appeared rejuvenated by switching to Nazim as his trainer.

    3)Cotto-good win

4)Paul Williams- feared my ass. He didn't bring anything to the table, he was just desperate for somebody to fight him so he could get a payday. Then quintana beat his ass over 12rds.

5)Sergio Martinez- not even close to being the same fighter then that he is now, just like Pacquiao is a much improved fighter now, then he was several years ago.

Theres no question Margo fought the better fighters in their better years but Floyd has never lost. It is what it is. Had Floyd fought the same fighters at the proper time, he may have lost as well.

Everybody had a chance to beat him.....until they fought him and loss. Then the excuses came pouring out.

Not really, it's also based on competition (other people on the p4p list) and talent (and as far as Floyd is concerned, also based on how good he was in the lighter weights) . LEGACY is based on resume, and PAC shits on Floyd in this Matter.

I know that about Pac, but what's your point? We are talking about Mayweather here. But really, I'm talking about Cotto, Margarito and Pac...those names will haunt his ass...FOREVER.

When did Pac come into this?

We are debating how you think Floyds ducked a lot of people yet you still rate him as the 2nd/3rd best fighter in the world.

Clearly if hes ducked all the best, then he couldn't of fought anyone worth while, which would get him out of the top 10 p4p easily right?

My point slowpoke is that because people hate Mayweather os much, guys who they were screaming he was scared of and would take his head his off suddenly had no chance to beat him and were cherry picked after Mayweather schools them.

If the Pac fight doesn't come off then that will linger against him, but nobody will care about Margarito's slow, plodding, unskilled ass, nor the man he made quit Cotto.

This thread is stupid. Its so easy to prove Floyd has fought better fighters it is not even funny. Better opposition my ass.

He fought names though...Mosley was a name, and had Mosley been younger Floyd would have been KTFO. Too bad he was shot at the time they fought. Marquez was another one who was very high in the p4p list, but he was two weight classes below the weight they fought at. Does that answer your question now?

Names mean nothing, we all know that.

Look at you already criticize him even though they are "names"

Even though you know they are "names" you STILL rate him the 2nd/3rd best fighter in the world.

So either you're a dumbass or you've been caught spewing too much bull**** and you don't know which way to swim.

Really? I disagree, an undefeated Cotto would have given him a run for his money. Floyd looked like a ****ing deer caught in headlights when Margarito approached his ass. And had Floyd fought a younger Mosley he would have been KNOCKED THE **** OUT! (Deny that one for me) And the only reason people hate Floyd is because he ducks tough competition, so that's his own fault. Floyd is not known for courage, there's a reason for that.

    Margarito's #1 p4p pacquiao > Mayweather's #2 marquez
    Margarito's a year younger mosley > Mayweather's a year older mosley
    Margarito's undefeated cotto > Mayweather's undefeated Hatton
Margarito's near prime williams > Mayweather's past prime Oscar
    Margarito's 16-0-1 young Martinez > Mayweathers's 43-9-6 old Baldomir

I'm pretty sure Margarito just won this match-up by just the pacquiao-fight alone.
