Margarito fought the most dangerous fighters at 147, while PBF just wasted 2 years.

-De la Hoya was ranked in the 154 top3 and was a beltholder.

-De la Hoya beat the dog**** out of Mayorga. Saying that Alcine, Santos or Dzinziruk would do the same is pure speculation.

Floyd moved up in weight and was always the smaller man moving up. Has Margarito attempted this? Not at all.:hi:

This has nothing to do with Floyd's accomplishments at 147. He wasted too much time without taking on the toughest fighters at 147.

One of his fights during his 147 pd reign took place at 154. And he's won 2 titls at 147 already

    Wow.

Another thread regarding the Marg-Cotto fight that turned into a Floyd thread.

Those 24/7 shows really made him popular, eh?

Nah, I started this after I saw the "PBF beats Margarito easily" thread. PBF being retired doesn't stop some of his fans from making those kind of threads so why should it stop me?

I agree.....name one former junior-lightweight champion with a remote chance to beat DLH at 154.

Plus delahoya being spent is a joke. He hasnt been in alot of wars and since 2001 he fights once or twice a year. He is past prime, but hardly close to shot.

Anyway if Margarito signed to fight ODLH I doubt anyone will say he is shot or anything of that nature, cuz if DLH beat him then what does that make Margo right. Margo could beat DLH, but lets be realistic....the only welterweights with a chance to beat ODLH is Paul Willams, because of his busy style and his height. People need to stop trying to take something away from everything and every fight Mayweather has won.

Baldomir was universally recongized as the 147 champ when Floyd faced him.

De La Hoya is better at 147 then 154. He might fight Margarito soon, even though I don't think he deserves a shot so we'll see how he does.

Yea, easy to fall back on your bull**** when the cowards in question don't man up and take the legitimate fights!

You show me how Mayorga beats Santos, Dzinziruk and Alcine. Please do. I'm all ears.
