Margarito got what he deserved

Yea Hatton said he needed a few more fights...Arum wouldn't let young Cotto in the ring with Floyd...Arum was promoting both of them...It was after the Corley fight or the Bruseles fight that he called them out...

 

This whole Thread is stupid. Some people are going on about like the Margarito last night wasn't the one prior. Stupid bull****. Shane beat the **** out him. Margarito was quite limited, but what he could do within that limitation he made it the best he could. But he got owned.

That Margarito was the one who fought everyone else. Shane just teed off on him all night and he can't stand up to that. And no Cotto does not have more power than Shane... where do people come up with this stuff??? It took Cotto 11 rounds to KO Zab, which btw imho Zab could've continued. Baldomir had Zab wobbling all over the ropes trying to grab him. Shane on the other hand has KO'd guys with proven chins.

 

Using pad disgust me, he should be banned from boxing. There have been some guys that have seriously got hurt from this (Collins vs Resto). I wonder if he use pad againts Cotto, Cotto was not known to cut easily but he was a bloody mess after the fight.

There should be an investigation regarding this incident and very harsh punishments.

 

At 140, Floyd is criticized for not fighting the best.

Cotto too green and Arum said no.

Floyd wanted a belt at 140 before skipping ahead to 147.

Gatti wanted to vacate to fight Floyd, Floyd said no (wanting a belt from a champion), so WBC made him go through two eliminators (Brussles and Corley).

 

Yes, I remember that Margarito... that is the Margarito that use pad to beat Cotto. He should be BAN from BOXING for LIFE.
