Margarito Has Some Balls: Calls Out Cotto & Mosley For His July Return

He's just trying to make a living... Wouldn't u do the same?

Should he just keep his head down in shame and disappear into the mountains?

:-( I think Margarito is losing it...seriously. He needs to plead insanity because all i could say when I read the article on him calling out Mosley and Cotto was "What the **** is he on?"

 

Like Ice man said, Tyson bit a man's ear off and got the same type of punishment as margo did..

How would u guys explain that?

 

I can see him not knowing. Cotto's uncle and trainer also believes him, along with Freddy Roach and Mosley.

Evangelista Cotto's words, something like this, " I have been doing this for twenty years, and not once did one of my fighters ask me what I was putting in their wraps, so it is a possibility that Marg did not know. A fighters job is to fight, we as trainers take care of the hand wrapping, they just stick their hands out and let us do our work."

 

He is hoping for one or two more pay days . He knows deep down he is done.
Spinning the old 'weight drained excuse' for a weight he always fights at is not going to convince anyone.

Facts:

1. Tyson bit Evander's ear off and was allowed to fight after a suspension.
2. Many fighters are caught taking steroids to enhance their performance.
3. Neither one of the first two facts causes serious injury or death, but plaster of paris can, does, and has! So comparing this to other offenses is well...offensive in itself.

What Margarito has done is entered the ring with not just the intent to cheat but to hurt...seriously hurt his opponent for his own gain. Margarito doesn't strike me as stupid so he's surely aware of the risks that plaster of paris carries which makes him a psychopath in my book.

It's essentially bringing a weapon into the ring. He should be tried for assault and should be ashamed of himself for both participating in this fiasco and for claiming he doesn't know what goes on his hands. Despicable and disgraceful.

his hands arent BRICKS just because he put that wrap on..... if they do get hard, its not gonna be like metal....and its not gonna happen magically in five seconds when its done being put on..... no one knows how long it will take for it to actually tighten up....either way, its not right...but i dont see him brutalizing opponents because of the wrap....

 

Hmm it depends. It seems that most of the boxing public wont accept him back into the boxing community according to many posts ive seen over the internet. So if he ever was to fight either of these guys, hed just be met by Booooo's apart from the Mexico contingent. Im still a fan, he gave me one of the best fights ive seen in my life, but i dont see him coming back to fight either of these, unless Cotto wants to right a wrong.

 

biting an ear was a spur of the moment thing in retaliation for head butts whereas soaking your wraps in plaster of paris can cause serious brain damage and death

the two are totally different margo should be banned for longer imo
