Cotto should have been allowed a five minute rest, then if he didn't fancy carrying on Margarito should have been disqualified!!

It's the only firm but fair way to go!

The rules say the referee could either take a point or disqualify the offending fighter so he had no choice but to disqualify him!

I'm borrowing this account because I'm not smart enough to work out how to register for my own.

    Puerto Joe.

It's ****ing bollocks that Cortez stopped the Soto fight because of this. It happens in boxing. Get over it.

Had the fight been stopped there, the referee wouldn't have made it out alive.

Yea not to make no excuses, Margo gets his props but Ref seemed a lil biases.

Allowed over 3 low blows with out a point... Didn't let Cotto hold on for nothing, I understand when its to an excess but his first time?.... Didn't say anything when Margo hit while breaking up clinches... Didn't say anything when he hit Cotto while down.

By all means I'm taking nothing away from Margo, Excellent fight.

Pffffft, are you ****ing kidding me?! As if no one here has ever seen a fighter sneak a light shot on a guy while he's down. Happens all the time and most of the time it's of no consequence.

The damage was already done by Margarito, that last parting shot was very insignificant to say the least.

JOe Cortez ****ed up in the Soto fight plain and simple. WHy didn't anyone make a big deal when Pac hit Marquez on his way down in the 1st match? Marquez was on his back. Cotto is a dipper and goes down to squat for all Margo might have thought that Cotto was squatting and didn't want to chance anything.

Man that wasn't even intentional, Margarito was getting carried away, taking advantage of the opening over and over, he was just letting his hands go.

Cotto was bending over so Margo couldn't hit his body, that's why the shots went low.
