I don't think Margarito would beat Williams in a rematch and I think Williams is the real #1 fighter, but that my opinion.

 

WWs don't have a champ until these two fight again. Hopefully they keep winning at least. Williams beats him all over again when it happens.

I use to hold it against DLH for not fighting Margarito but not anymore. Margarito has no reason to fight DLH. He has unfinished business and still lost to Williams. He oughta be ashamed of himself since he claims to be such a proud warrior and champion.

Williams calling out Margarito and Margarito asking him to wait says a lot about their character.

Cotto won't ever beat Margarito or Williams. Cotto will never be able to absorb the punishment necessary to be Margarito at this stage. His tolerance will be on a steady decline if he is fighting the best in the division. He can look good against everyone else but Margarito and Williams.

 

He's not number one welterweight on my ranking. He wouldn't be anywhere near my P4P list were I to bother to assemble one. Hope that helps.

They need to fight after the Clottey rematch for sure.

 

I think his performance against Cotto may have erased that loss in the minds of Boxing fans, but I dont agree that Margarito is the best Welterweight in the world until he beats Paul Williams.
