Santos was on his way to being STOPPED before Margarito was ROBBED and if fights were still 15 rounds Williams would have been STOPPED.

I cannot wait for this rematch to take place where upon Margarito walks through Williams like a bull in a china shop.
Hopefully this will silence the "Paul Williams is the messiah of the WW division" critics.

Your great black hope is Berto, NOT Williams.

Williams made Margarito look like he was wearing cement shoes. I would not call Williams a hope, he is an elite WW.

What your saying is correct, Tony did beat Paul but lost to Quintana while Tony knocked out Cintron, for the IBF, knocked out Johnson easily, and stopped Cotto for the WBA, in other words since that loss Tony has accomplished more in the sport than Paul has since he beat Tony there for Paul is in the back seat.

I know you want things to be your way but they are not right now, had Paul not lost to Quintana Maybe just Maybe he would have a leg to stand on but what people remember more about Quintana vs Williams is the loss that Williams suffered and NOT the knock out in the rematch

Im unfamiliar with the events I highlighted.

Anyway how does Paul have to take a backseat to a fighter he already beat? Because Paul lost? Well Paul avenged that loss in emphatic fashion.

Im a fan of neither but Tony has to fight Pw if he is saying he is the best in the division because Paul already beat him.

Because Paul has lost since, and Tony has knocked out three fighters two of which were Champions one of which was considered the Top Welter weight, Cotto ranks higher than Quintana and Quintana beat Williams which dropped Williams down a notch until the rematch but it still does not mean that Williams is in any right deserving of a rematch right now, Later down the road yes but its my beleif that Williams should add a solid name to ensure a rematch with Tony.
Tony has already come back from that loss, and proven to be the best welter weight, while Williams who lost to quintana beat Tony by a razor thin margon, and knowing that and knowing how he was owned by Carlos Williams has work to put in.

Yea Paul has lost but he is not COMING OFF A LOSS. He is coming off a 1 rd KO over the person that beat him.

You are correct the puzzle has been solved by a counter puncher with good skills and good movement. Something Marg just doesnt have.

In all honesty Reg i think Q came in looking for the KO thats why that happened. Props to Pw though but Carlos from the begining of the fight didnt even use the movement he did the first time. He stood roght infront of Paul trying to land that Left hand.
He got one in and on the next attempt got countered by something he didnt see coming on the way in. Also all that talking Carlos was doing before the fight about how he is going to knock Paul out led me to believe Q was over confident and coming to knock Paul out. He payed dearly for this also but Props to Paul.
