The Williams nut huggers seem to forget that Quintana gave Williams a boxing lesson, in other words HE BEAT THE **** OUT OF HIM FOR 12 ROUNDS. You don't see them crying for a rubber match with Quintana which I think should happen before Williams is given any shot at all against Margarito.

Again, Paul Williams is not the messiah of the WW division.
Your great black hope is Berto.

Comedy because im not even a Pwill fan.

But here what quintana had to say:

"There is a desire to continue, but it depends on what my team says. I realize that I have the talent. I realize that there are other boxers out there that I can fight. Paul Williams is not an easy fight. He beat me and he beat Margarito who now challenges Cotto. Maybe I can go after a vacant title or a possible eliminator to land a title fight. I'm going to take a few months off to rest and then make a decision on what I plan to do next,"

This in and of itself does not detract from the fact that Quintana beat the living **** out of Williams for 12 rounds.

It shows that Quintana has no desire for a rubber match with Paul right now. So the fact that you said Quintana should get a rematch before Paul gets in with marg is nonsense, considering the fact that Quintana himself doesnt want the rematch but instead to take time off and fight for a vacated title

At one time, not long after the second fight he did want a rubber match.
    Williams did not.
I do not know what happened to change his mind, however, I do trust your sources to be correct.

Personally I'd like to see a rubber match because I feel Quintana did not follow the script of the first fight.
I feel Williams got in a lucky punch and I still think that over 12 rounds Paul the punisher would have been punished again, had he not gotten the lucky punch.

Tony Margarito whupped Cotto like a red headed stepchild Miguel dont want no mo of Margarito.
Now he's meeting Clottey who is unbeaten apart from the loss to Tony. Then he'll meet Williams and whup him severely
All this time Oscar and Floyd can meet up and discuss prima donna things

To protect his skinny ass ribs.
He has to since im sure body shots are the key to destroying PW.
There is no way a skinny torso like that wont be hurt when Cotto or Margarito land big uppercuts on it or left hooks.

that quote i gave you was like 2-4 days after the fight. Whether Paul got lucky or not he Ko'd Q in 1 round to avenge his loss. I dont think Q fought smart and was looking for the KO in the rematch also but that doesnt change what happened and that doesnt change what Q said a few days after the fight

True but during that time Tony beat two world champions and knocked out Johson all three of his wins are by way of knock out since that fight.

and tony gets 100% credit for that but he lost to paul and he cant say he is the best when he lost to guy in his division. I could see if marg and Pwill were 1-1 but its not that way

I can't believe what I hearing from these Margarito fans. Why wouldn't you want your fighter to avenge a loss to one of the top guys of the division. That **** sounds crazy. You all keep coming up with lame excuses why williams should wait when he's the one who whooped him. Real champs would want to avenge there lost with no hesitation especially to a guy who's one of the top guys of the division. He rather fight a fighter he already beat(even though Clottey was hurt) for less money then avenge a loss for more money. I'm just not understanding that and what kind of true boxing fans would agree with that nonsense.

I'm all for Marga fighting PW and seeing if he can indeed avenge that loss to him.

    They should fight again, period.
