I actually think its the other way around, if Cotto wins its late and by either stoppage or decision, simply because IMO Cotto is going to have to work a bit to get Tony going, Tony has one shot one kill kind of power so I think the early Kayo goes to Margarito

I see we have the same idea only the opposite of each other.
If you go by the Paul Williams fight.....which honestly I think Margo won and was kinda cheated.
I dont think Margo will start as slow as he did with Williams in the fight with Cotto. In the Williams fight he gave the early rounds away. He cannot give early rounds to Cotto and expect to win.

Put it to you this way, Margarito can not box Cotto to win, he must fight, Cotto must box and fight, he must do both on the inside let his hands got start low finish high and step off to the side out of harms way.
Tony must do everything he can to bully Cotto to the ropes and let his hands go. Something tells me though everytime Tony puts Cotto on the ropes Cotto will fight back enough to off set Tony giving Cotto time to step around and head back to the center of the ring.
interesting fight I cant wait for it.

Look low blows headbutts rabbit punches is all part of the ****ing sport, if your going to sit here and cry about Cotto hitting Judah low then find yourself another sport.
    Or

Be a ****ing man and accept this is just the nature of the game.

Did you see some of the shots Margo took in the rematch with Cintron?
The guy walked right through them. I couldn't believe it.
Litterally leading with his head walked right into one of Cintrons bomb right hands, paused for a split second and kept on coming like it never happened. I was shocked. At the moment of impact, I said to myself , oh man that's it, he's got to be in trouble.
Then he beats the hell out of Cintron the rest of the fight and begs Cintron to get up and fight some more.

Cotto the consumate tactician and Margo the ultimate warrior.
    I can't wait.

I see a lot of people that pick Margarito only pick him by KO. I have not seen one person pick Marg by decision. Is it b/c they know there is no way in the world that Marg can decision Cotto. I dont think he can get the decision b/c if it goes the distance, it will most likely be b/c Cotto was tagging that ass all night.

What Marg fans are not considering at all is WHAT IF Marg catches Cotto with his best shot and Cotto walks through it??? What does Marg do then? We all know he doesnt have a plan B, yet alone a C or a D.

HOwever, Cotto can beat Marg in many ways.

So basically, Marg fans are only depending on Tony's power which most likely is not going to work against Cotto.

They shoudl definitely think twice before placing any serious bets. It's not like Tony is Tyson or anything. The only time he ko's peoople is when he can overwhelm them with this punches. But the only people he can do that against are scrubs who dont know how to handle pressure and have poor foot movement. Cotto doesnt have any of those problems.

    So think again Marg fans.

    Well....low blows, rabbit punches ect.......

All this seems irrelevant with these two fighters the biggest difference between the two will be shown that night in the ring..."class" Margarito is an excellent fighter but he will be simply outclassed. It doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure it out. This is boxing and its possible Cotto can walk out the ring the loser but I just don't see it happening Cotto just does everything better than Margo he's simply the better fighter. I just hope for a good scrap.

Sorry but its a well known fact that Cintron's power is a combonation of footing, timing and most important confidence. Cintron catious approach pecking jab and premature pull back on his attack coupled with Margo's preperation for the right hand made for the obvious result. As soon as the first round ended I knew it was close to over. Cintron is baffled by the inside attack and he nullifies his own punching power while in close quarters. Your example is useless (no offense) Cotto's punches will have a tactical and effecient effect on Margo....you will see the difference in grade level soon enough.

The question that some of you guys need to be answering is who's going to cut first.

They both are prone to cuts ... not as much as say a Ricky Hatton or an Arturo Gatti ... but they have cut before in fight and Margarito has lost a fight off of a TD because of a severe cut.

Cotto cut against Judah, Mosley, and Urkal ...

Margarito cut against Cintron and Williams ...

This fight may be decided off a technicality --

I'm not questioning Cotto's chin no more because he's taken alot of shots and only went down once during his career. But he is able to be knocked out --

Margarito has a granite chin, but I remember him getting hurt off a body shot against Daniel Santos in PR.

If Cotto just aims to outbox this guy ... he can have his way with him ... he can choose to bounce side to side ... and keep that jab in his face ... he can beat him up for 12 rounds or get a stoppage in the second half of the fight.

Only thing that Margarito has going into his favor, is the hunger for more, and the fact that he has nothing to lose.

I can't believe people are comparing Kelson Pinto to Antonio Margarito.

Just goes to show how many knuckleheads there are in the gen forum.

Cotto should win, but I tell you Im really a lot more worried about this fight than everyone else. I just have Cotto eventually getting caught and dont exactly know how he will respond. Im starting to think if its a decision Cotto wins but if its a KO Margo wins.
