He said he would fight anyone his promoter and team puts in front of him.

    I say Bulls...!!!!!

He recently backed out of a fight with Clottey for Nov....

He knew who he was facing.
He had ample time for preparation.
He said he wasn't hurt in the Cotto fight.....

( so 3 months is sufficient in between fights )

His promoter put Clottey in front of him as well as his team.

    And Margie backed out
( I guess he realized Clotteys hands were ok in the Judah fight )

Cotto has been requesting a rematch and he won't acknowledge.
He says he will fight anyone who his promoter puts in front of him.

    Bullsh...

again...i'll say it again: WE DON'T KNOW WHY THE FIGHT IS OFF. But usually its because of money..not because of a guy being scared. Again, i don't know, and YOU DON'T KNOW.

    Money fights with exposure
#1 money fight is with DLH
#2 money fight is to lure PBF out of retirement
#3 money fight is with Cotto

He's setting the third option up there... he should be fighting Paul Williams.

Maybe had Quintana not been owned by Cotto. MArgarito would have been a better first defense

Arum knows Margarito is beatable by anyone. (He's a great welterweight, but beatable at that..)
I don't think Margarito is afraid of nobody or no one.. it ain't about that, it's about Arum :deal

You damn right about everyone being beatable:thumbsup

This is why Arum won't risk a chance spoiling his cash cows to fighters that are not signed under him.. he wants to make the most money.

It's not my hair holmes

I heard some where that the Clottey fight was of because they couldn't agree on the money. Clottey wanted to much apparently.

I can't remember where i read it so please don't ask me for the link.

Did anyone else hear this rumour?

Everyone please note that this Capitan character is a HUGE Cotto fan and is still butt sore over the raping Margarito gave him. The man is obviously obessessed as most of his posts are about Margarito ducking this and that.
Pay him no attention and he will go away.

I heard they couldnt come to terms on money with Clottey , yeah,

That could mean Clottey wanted too much or Arum was trying to get out of that fight by offering to less..

Its either Arum or Clotteys manager...who knows..:deal
