    Makes sense. Clottey holds a belt now so maybe he thought that entitled him to a 50/50 split.

    Thats just a thought by the way people not my opinion so don't jump down my throat.

    I have to say that I'm disappointed in Margarito and Top Rank for not getting either the PTP or Clottey fight done. Margo really needs to get in the ring to capitalize on his new found fame that he earned in the Cotto fight. Casual boxing fans are finally starting to give him the recognition that he deserves so if I were him I'd want to ride out the momentum.

    I don't understand why the hell people are so harsh on Margarito. The guy fights everyone in his division that no one else wants to fight (Williams, Clottey, Cotto, Cintron twice, and made a serious offer to Mayweather). Margo gets criticized for not fighting guys like Williams and Clottey a second time, when guys like Cotto and Mayweather never would even fight them a first time.

    Guys like Cotto and Mayweather took "easy" fights and "tune up" fights all the time. Margo beats Cotto, and he's a "fight ducker" because he doesn't go immediately into another big fight just a couple of months later. What hypocrisy, if you ask me.
