Yes he cheated in the ring. But he definetly does not cheat the fans. He has given us some epic fights, putting his life at risk in the process, and we must appreciate him for that.

Dela hoya Mosley and Cotto all quit against Manny. Margo took the wrst beating of the lot but Never Backed Down. Stupid Yes. But he has given us alot of entertainment.

 

You sir, must be delusional.... Last time I checked Cotto lost to pacquiao ( a guy that is also highly suspect of cheating) by 12th rd stoppage, but was still on his feet AND imo able and deserving of hearing the final bell!! He did NOT quit like fishnets Hoya or like Mosley was trying to tell his trainer, Nazim.

 

Not only Margarito doesn't deserve respect but any fan that praises this worthless, scumbag, POS WON't ever get any respect from this poster.

Wtf are you talking about? Mike Tyson was a social pariah for years after that **** conviction, not to mention the JAIL TIME he served.

And I've seen plenty of people put asterisks by the names of individuals who've used PED's.

But being rewarded with praise for attempting to load glaves in a professional fight without facing jail time or some form of punishment is ridiculous. And before you say, he probably won't be able to fight in the us anymore, boo ****ing hoo. He just made MILLIONS his last two fights!

Cotto - hit the retreat button after about 5 rounds. You could call it a tactical change do avoid getting stopped. But it made for a boring 2nd half of the fight.
I agree it wasnt as worse as delahoya who quit on his stoold. And definetly Mosley who made no effor the whole fight. Or Clottey who went into turtle defense and wouldn't come out.

But he did switch to a much more defensive/retreating style, which made for a boring 2nd half of the fight.

 

Yep, boring does not = quitting... And btw, not too many ppl that I know of found that fight boring.. Maybe you find Mayweather's kind of fights exciting.
