all right, I disagree with you but I guess I can see why you think so. Although he was a lot more loose versus margarito than he was against Mayweather. He seemed very tight, don't you think?
Prince, I've been hearing a lot of people say how tight Mosley was and how that contributed to his inevitable defeat, but don't you think it's just a really, really weak excuse? The man has been fighting for almost 20 years, his fight with Oscar De La Hoya was a huge event and he never froze up then? The man has been fighting the best fighters in the world for well over a decade, and yet he freezes up when he comes up against Money Maywather? ...I'm not sure. I think his age and the fact he hadn't fought in 14 months holds a hell of a lot more weight.
Yes he seemed tight because everytime he was going to throw his punches floyd would land on him! So shane became gun shy
I think this contributed, along with Shane Mosley being 38 years of age and being out of the ring for well over a year. Mayweather decided to challenge a blown up Super Featherweight in his first fight back, he wanted no part of top level competition at Welterweight until he got some ring time under his belt. I'm not trying to devalue Floyd's win, it was a good one, but I'm sure when Mosley watches back the video he'll be disappointed in his conditioning and overall performance.
You made some good points, But at the end of the day I think floyd is just a better boxer! Shane looked good against margo due to maybe some enhancers and margos style plays into shanes style! Floyd mayweather is a pure boxer, shane didnt have a remedy for floyds sickness!!
I could go into detail, Theres a long bloody, somewhat ugly history as to why a mexican cant be racist! But this site is about boxing, so lets keep it about boxing! :good :bbb
Floyd Mayweather Jr is certainly the better fighter at this point, but I think it'd be dismissive to not consider all of the facts leading up to the fight. Floyd Mayweather Jr fans justified their favorite fighter challenging Juan Manuel Marquez because it was his first fight back after a long lay off. They recognize that at this level you can't be out of the sport for over a year and expect to come back and face off and defeat the best fighters in your division. I can accept this, it makes sense to me, but then when I suggest that Mosley was hampered by a similar level of inactivity they aren't as open minded. ...Come to your own conclusions.
As much as I dislike floyds personality, at the end of the day he is the best boxer out there! I think he beats mosley on his best day to be honest! I want to see floyd fight manny or maybe sergio martinez! :good
Perhaps he does...but he didn't beat Mosley on his best day and therefore we he won't be credited for doing so. :good I hold Manny Pacquiao in higher esteem. He represents everything a prizefighter should at this point. When you're at the top of the mountain, you keep on pushing yourself and ever since he fought Oscar De La Hoya, the Filipino has never looked back.
same thing with cotto.... you backed up margo saying that there is no proof at all and that you really think margo was clean......that's of course when you were at it with the cotto and pacman fans before their fight.......now that the dust has settled, you change your ****en tune like a straight girl..... you're a coward kid
Yea I love manny pacquiao, the guys awesome! I mean hes so humble, so great in the ring! I would like to see him beat floyd, But I dunno! Floyds defense is soo good and floyds over all game might be too much for pac!! we will see.... But if they do fight ...., WAR PAC
I was picking Mayweather to win around 8-4 during the weeks leading up to the fight but I had made an avatar bet just for fun...an avatar bet I forgot entirely about incidentally. I'm a man of honor, I'll wear this crap for as long as I have too.
