anyone hear about this? bob is already offering Julio Jr to Cotto. I don't think Miguel wants to stay. Will Miguel still be over at TR after he beats Marg?

Cotto doesn't have many fights left, if he wants a Pac re-match then he stays with Bob, if wants to fight Floyd he goes solo and ends his career on a big pay day.

I have a feeling if Miguel's contract is up with TR & Floyd cant make a fight with Manny...Floyd will come calling for Cotto.
Would sell a tonne anywhere especially in NY & IMO is a attractive fight.

Have you heard that Cotto wants a rematch with either?

I remember Steward saying that Cotto didn't think he had much left to do, he wanted to re-match and beat Margo, then avenge his loss to Pacquaio. Cotto really does think he wasn't right in that fight (Joe Santiago, fighting crouched etc) So in his mind, he'd like to set the record straight.

I don't think that's a good fight for him. I'd like to see him humble some young prospect and leave the sport on a high note.

I don't think a rematch with emmanuel would actually happen. No way it could do good business with how thoroughly Cottoe got beat up in the original fight

You're right, Pacquaio is really all wrong for him, his feet are too fast.
If he beats Margarito I'd argue he should end it there, Pacquaio, Sergio, and Floyd are big money fights and none of them end well for him.

Close the book with Margo, and enjoy your health with your kids Cotto.

Bob would manage to sell it, 154 no catchweight, Cotto has avenged one loss, he'd sell it as Cotto on a mission, the Margarito fight has given him the confidence of the old Cotto who destroyed Judah and beat Mosley, blah blah blah

If he loses it's over, why bother to re-build?
He does have the option of becoming what I call an attraction fighter, fight in NY against B class opposition, using your name Value to sell the fight, not huge paydays but decent ones, with little risk.

Even if he loses to Tony, something I personally don't think he'll do, I think he should fight Chavez or Canelo....Imagine how we'd feel about Mosley if he'd have hung em up after Margarito

Cotto may retire after this fight. Anyone know how stable he is financially if he does retire?

Very sound, he's invested well. Owns gas stations in PR I think.

:think Never heard. Would expect him to be sitting pretty. Can't picture him pulling a Tyson or Holyfield.
