First order of business is margarito. Winning convincingly on the 3rd would catapult him again. Its all about the big paydays at this point...demand pac or walk and pursue a mayweather fight.

I prefer Cotto vs Floyd than pac 2, im tired of him being matched inhouse with the exception of mayorga, I want to see him fight canelo or floyd or sergio or even ortiz or berto those would be fun to see.

    Couldnt agree more,

Cotto - Canelo would be the best 154 matchup in a long time, especially as Canelo beat his older brother aswell as it being another Mexico-Puerto Rico rivalry (assuming hes coming off the Margarito Win) and the Super WBA / WBC Unification, this fight would be huge!

Cotto V Ortiz/Berto winner - a very entertaining fight matchup but doesnt quite have the luster of the Canelo one as both fighters are coming off losses ( yes berto beat zaveck but its hardly a big win ) see how Berto Ortiz 2 plays out

Cotto V Martinez - my two favourite fighters but Martinez would be too big for Cotto even at 154, hes too mobile and with Cottos age and the weight hes already moved up to hes not as fast as he was in his 140/147 days. Martinez by vicious KO and not a way id like to see Cotto go out

Cotto V Floyd - Money could sell us a fight against Kell Brook if he really wanted to and turn it into a million dollar event. Cotto V Floyd would generate large numbers but Floyd would end up just toying with Cotto at this stage, Floyd UD with Cotto fighting hard.

If Cotto wins, he should leave TR and become a promotional partner with GBP. He can run GBP Puerto Rico alongside Miguel Cotto Promotions and have the options to fight Mayweather, Canelo, Khan, Ortiz, etc.

He's been co-promoting with GBP for a while now, solo boxeo and some cards in PR...could be a sign of whats to come.

I wouldn't mind Mayweather-Cotto if Cotto wins and Arum keeps Pacquaio away from Floyd

"I asked Bob about that yesterday and he did not want to get into it. But he knows he has to deal with it after the Margarito fight."

sounds like bob knows it'll be a pain the AZZ and hard when he tries to get Cottoe to resign

Did the people in PR ever get more info about Floyd and Cottoe's secret meeting in Summer '10 during Floyd's vacation in PR? Cottoe's lawyer was involved with it too so there musta been some kind of business going on

I never really looked into it after that...my take on it is that Floyd took an interest in what Miguel was doing with his promotional company as he had just signed the deal with GBP for soloboxeo and he was looking to do something similar for maywearher promotions and yes he was also there for vacation. There's some videos on youtube of the money team playing ball in PR.
