Could you restructure or clarify that statement and make it again. I've read it four times and haven't deciphered it yet:huh
I think he's trying to say that Margaritos handwrap scandal mentally affected him (Margarito) more than the loss to Margarito affected Cotto.
On the scene it said he had two surgeries: One for a fractured orbital and another for a cataract. Safe to say his eye will never be the same. Cotto will probably target it.
Eh, unless Margarito's eye is really screwed, or Cotto can box for 12 rounds, Margarito ko's Cotto again. Cotto needed 9 rounds to defeat a limping Foreman and 12 rounds an old Mayorga, neither one brings the pressure Margarito brings, and with a fracture orbital bone against Pac he was going forward soooo yeah
Antonio "Sammy Davis Jr." Margarito. LOL People talking about Margo's pressure need to realize at 154 he isn't really a pressure fighter, he actually tries to poorly box. I don't know what he will do against Cotto though, should be interesting. Kneeguel might want to call up Papa Trinidad and ask him about some of those special wraps.
I was thinking that when I first heard about this fight, that it would be impossible for his eye to fully heal in time for this fight. He really shouldnt ever fight again and I wouldnt be surprised if he suffers a detached retina. Its more likely than not that this fight will be stopped because of that eye. My guess is between 6-8 rounds.
I think Cotto's the one in for a rude awakening when he finds out that Tony hits just as hard in this fight as he did in the first fight, maybe harder now that it's at 153-(that alone tells me he's a little concerned about Tony's power). I also have the impression Cotto's fighting for a payday where Tony is hungry to prove himself.
