I wouldn't b surprised if Marg gets dropped early more than once with Cintron's improved technique and counter punching, thnx to Steward...but getting stopped by the Tijuana Tornado in the middle or maybe late rds.

Why is it hard for you to see why people would root for Margarito? :huh

Both guys are coming into this fight very determined. Its hard to determine what is really going on in their minds based on a weigh in or pictures. One thing I do agree with many is that Cintron as of recent has been looking a bit drained in his past couple of fights. I also believe that Margarito is aware of Cintron's power and will have a tighter defense to avoid big punches. He did this in their first encounter, if you guys notice he blocked off a lot of shots. In his post fight interview, he did say that they knew Cintron was a big puncher and he wanted to avoid the big shots early. I don't see why he would change that aspect of his fight game this time around. But i believe that Cintron will not be the one pressing the action this time around. i think his strategy will be to counter Margarito. It should be interesting. I don't think it will be an easy fight for either guy, but I still have Margarito winning in the later rounds. I think Kermit may start off well, but Margarito's consistent pressure will take its tool. I think this fight may be a bit more strategic than their first, both guys measuring each other out in the first couple of round and will start to warm up in the 3rd.

    .

Margarito punches were straighter b/c the other guy just stood there right in front of him balled up waiting to get knocked out from round one.

LOL Margarito was laughing at Cintron's crying in their 1st fight, that was hilarious

Actually, I dont think that is the case. In comparison to his past fights, I think Margarito has been improving on his technique and it showed since the Paul Williams fight. It should be interesting to see what Emanuel Steward has to say if Margarito defeats him in a similar fashion to the first fight, because I remember Emanuel criticizing Margarito for his looping punches.

If you get a chance watch the first fight. Margarito was VERY responsible with his defense and gave Cintron no free punches.

Unlike the Williams and Cotteys of the division, Margarito actually respects Cintron's power. He kept his elbows tight and his guard high the whole way. And his punches were short and to the point also.

It's when Margarito doesn't respect his opponents power that he walks in and just absorbs punishment. He usually wins doing it too.

Cintron needs to try and box a lot for this fight, it is a very dangerous fight for him. I will be surprised if he can win, but in boxing anything can happen. Margarito was robbed when he beat the crap out of Williams.

Guys, dont be fooled by Cintron's face. he always has that weird worry look or uncomfortable face like he doesn't like to be in the spot light. I believe that is just his personality. I recall when i first saw him interview on ESPN, before even ever watching him fight, i thought what is up with this guy, he seems so unsure of himself. I thought he was gonna loose. he fought far more aggressive than I perceived him to be and he ko'd the other guy. Looks could be deceiving.

Wouldn't say it was a robbery but I definately saw it for the champ. I thought he took enough of the late rounds to keep his title and had Williams in some trouble. But whatever. He's back in position to reclaim another title. And in doing so secures a date with Cotto should he get by Gomez.

It's a good time to be a Margarito fan.

Sometimes we don't give these guys enough credit for being professionals. I've seen countless amounts of fighters give good accounts of themselves in rematches against guys who owned them the first time out. I think Cintron, win or lose, is gonna be added to that list. I'm not necessarily saying that Cintron will win, just that he's not gonna give that belt up without a fight. I could be wrong but I don't think I am. I think Cintron has moved forward and is ready to go.

I cant see Cintron winning, Jesse Felciano looked like a poor mans Margarito and Cintron looked pretty poor against him. Wouldn't be suprised if Margarito stops him again.
