He broke Cotto's spirit, face, and took his heart. I think Cotto is done. I don't see how he comes back from this. I was seeing him punch the h*ll out of Margarito and still had this sense that Cotto was completely helpless. Wow. What a beating.
i dont want to be smug in saying i thought margarito was going to KO cotto, but give credit to cotto for giving us a great fight. Yet people were saying after the fight a rematch should be made, i think that would be a terrible move for cotto, he hit margarito with everything and cotto just could not live with him in the later rounds. just remember what happened to cintron
It was a ugly beating. Cotto just sort of huddled down. Looked very broken. But I think he can come back. At least I hope. He's a great fighter. Margarito's just INHUMAN!!
Great Fight. Margarito just ate all of Cottos punches like it was nothing. I laugh now at the guy here on esb who said that people will be surprised how it easy for Cotto to win this fight.. I always thought Cottos chin wouldnt held up against Margo's power but surprised at the same time at the boxing skills showed by Cotto in the early rounds..
